Family Aquatic Center Operation & Mission Statement

The primary goal of the Family Aquatic Center is to maintain a healthy and safe place for community members to enjoy water recreation.  Because of the inherent dangers, a large staff and efficiently operated facility is required. Water quality and sanitation practices must be maintained at very high levels. A seasonal operation, the aquatic center is managed and operated by part-time personnel, under the direction of the Water and Wastewater Department.

The City's original pool, which opened in 1957, gave way to a new one in 2003. The new facility, modeled after today's concept of a family aquatic center, includes two pools: a competitive pool and dive well with one and three meter diving boards, and a zero-entry leisure pool which includes an interactive play structure and large slide. The new aquatic center has been well received by the community and should serve the interests of St. Marys citizens for many years.

Regular Hours
Monday through Friday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM; 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Saturday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Sunday 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM; 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Family Swim Hours
Monday through Friday 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM; 5:45 PM to 6:30 PM
Saturday 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Sunday 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM; 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
Adult Lap Swim
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Swim Lessons Consult Pool Personnel
Water Aerobics Consult Pool Personnel
Pool Rental Consult Pool Personnel

Reduced operating hours will be in effect during the extended school year:
May 28th - May 30th: 1:00 - 3:00 May 31st  - June 2nd: 2:00 - 5:00
June 3rd: 2:00 to 6:00 June 4th: 1:00 - 5:00; 5:00 - 6:00 Family
June 5th: Regular Sunday Hours June 6th - June 9th: 2:00 - 6:00
June 10th: Begin Regular Daily Hours  

** Summerfest through Labor Day, Daily Hours Will Be 1:00 to 6:00 PM **
St. Marys reserves the right to modify posted hours based on weather conditions, lack of attendance, swim team meets, and other factors, without prior notification.
